It’s true. My cousin is {sometimes} vegan.
Translated to: she doens’t like to eat meat.
So why did I name my blog this? Well, I didn’t.
I got the idea from a friend of mine while talking to her about making a blog. We decided that My Cousin is Vegan is a good description of my life and gets to the core of who I am and what I believe.
I am a girl who loves the land of orange trees but couldn’t imagine a life anywhere other than the wheat state. I love seeing the world and being a part of the relationships that make it a better place. I love people because they are people, not because they think- or eat- like me.
I believe we all should have the right to choose and science mixed with a little common sense, holds the key to making our lives better- not the latest celebrity endorsement, perfume or crazy fad.
I mean, let’s be honest. We’re all in this together. And together we can make a difference.
